Seamax Boat Launching Wheels for Inflatable and Aluminum Boats, 500Lbs Capacity with 12 Tire & 2 Height Positions

Seamax Canada has designed the Seamax Easy Load Boat Launching Wheels Set using the toughest marine grade T6 aluminum alloy, which is then processed using CNC technology. This results in a shiny anodized coating on all aluminum parts, making the product ideal for use in saltwater conditions. Furthermore, all small parts are made from solid stainless steel. The wheel set has been tested to withstand 1000lbs and can support a maximum loading of 500lbs in all conditions, making it suitable for inflatable boats, aluminum boats, and fiberglass boats.

This system is specifically designed for boats with a transom, with the boat length not exceeding 16 FT and the total weight within 500 lbs. It is important to note that these transom wheels should only be installed by an adult with some experience in working with tools. Proper installation of the wheel set requires drilling 4 holes (5/16”) in the transom for mounting. Additional reinforcement may be necessary for some aluminum transoms. Marine sealant, such as Sikaflex 291, is recommended for use during installation.

The new Push Button design and the ability to adjust the system with a maximum of 3 stages wheel arm allows for easy adjustment while afloat in the boat, providing different performance positions for boat launching. The wheel arm length increments by 2.5” per stage, and when combined with the wheel’s diameter, provides a length range of 22-28 inches.

Upon receiving the product, it is important to note that the dolly tires may not be fully inflated, and should only be given 15-20 PSI pressure at room temperature before use. A portable digital air pump is recommended to avoid over-inflation of the tires, as over-inflated tires can cause damage and are not covered by the warranty. Additionally, a dual wheel kit is available for heavy loading applications.

Maintenance of the wheel set includes washing it after use in saltwater or on a sandy beach, checking tire pressure before every use, and avoiding storing the wheels under direct sunlight or heat to maximize their lifetime. It is also recommended to remove the wheel arm from the transom bracket when storing the boat, and to lubricate the spring load dolly system as necessary. The manufacturer offers a 2-year Parts Limited Warranty within the USA and Canada, as well as a 30-day free replacement on any defective transom wheel sets.
